Jim Oliver was named Director of the Information Technology Group in June, 2002. He brings 20 years experience in computer training, consulting, and management to the firm.
Before coming to Broussard, Poché, Lewis & Breaux, LLP, Jim was the owner of Oliver and Associates, served as Coordinator for Advanced Technology Training at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, served as Director of University College at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the Director of Education at Remington College. He taught operating system and computer application classes for the Continuing Education division of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for 16 years and has taught for-credit computer classes for both the Computer Science department at the University and the Southwest Louisiana Community College.
In 2006 Jim was named Director of Support and Strategic Services.
