Mary T. Miller is a partner in the tax department of Broussard, Poche’, Lewis & Breaux, LLP, where she practices in the areas of individual & corporation taxation, with specialization in retirement plan design, implementation and administration. She is a graduate, summa cum laude, of Louisiana Tech University in Medical Technology. Following a career in that field, she completed additional studies at the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a major in Accounting.
Her practice of individual taxation, partnership taxation and corporate taxation includes a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, medical practices and professional firms.
Mrs. Miller is the partner in charge of the retirement plan division of the firm. Her experience includes extensive knowledge of retirement plan design for business of various sizes. She has successfully designed, implemented and administered all types of retirement plans including 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, defined benefit plans, cash balance plans and employee stock ownership plans. Her additional accreditations in this field have been awarded by the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.
